Results November Auction Sales 342-343

Dear bidders and collector friends,
This evening our auction sales 342 and 343 ended. We would like to thank you very much for your great interest and the vivid participation.
In auction 342 we were delighted to dissolve the first part of the numismatic library of the Strasbourg coin dealer Alain Poinsignon. The 1000 lot numbers achieved a total hammer price of over 2.5 times the estimate. The publications of antique numismatics, especially those of the Greeks, as well as oriental numismatics were particularly in demand. The library was characterized by a consistently good preservation. Alain Poinsignon had many publications rebound. Also today it has been shown once again: what counts is quality. Thus the lavishly bound books were particularly popular with our customers and were highly bid.
The second part of this impressive library will be auctioned off tomorrow and the day after tomorrow in our eLive Premium Auction 344 at www.elive-auction.de (on November 4 and 5, 2020, starting at 10 a.m. each day).
Auction 343 was exceptional for us, as it was the first time we were allowed to auction a collection of wristwatches and pocket watches. On behalf of our sister company Künker Watches GmbH, we would like to thank all consignors for their great trust, but of course also you, our bidders and watch enthusiasts. The auction included a wide range of timepieces from the 18th century to the present day. The total knockdown was more than 140,000 euros.
