Der Gott auf dem Avers wird von Ann-Marie Knoblauch als Hephaistos interpretiert, dargestellt wäre dann auf dem Avers die Rückkehr des Hephaistos in den Olymp. Ann-Marie Knoblauch interprets the god on the obverse as Hephaestus, which would mean that the coin design is depicting the return of Hephaestus to Olympus.
